Floor Plan sheets show where the Elevations are located on or in the building. You can also confirm the quantity of Elevations & cross reference with the Architectural Drawings. Engineers also utilize this information to tell if an Elevation is in a corner zone or not. This information is crucial in preparing the Engineering Calculations. Floor plans are helpful from the start of the submittal process to the final installation in the field & for future reference.

Elevation sheets are the backbone of a solid set of Shop Drawings. The importance of the information shown on these sheets is undeniable. Everything from width & length of frames, opening sizes & caulk joints to the type of glazing material required are shown. After approval the ordering of aluminum & glass to locating setting blocks & anchor points are done with the reference to the Elevations. The Rocco Company will not only show the Elevation but will also give a detailed layout of the plan view below. This will help confirm that the sizes are correct as referenced to columns, rough opening sizes & other structural conditions that well be the foundation of the Elevation dimensions

Sections are required for all multi-span systems. Frame height, mullion length, splice joint, system depth & anchor heights will all be given on the section drawings supplied by the Rocco Company. Being an exact cut through the elevation itself at a specific point sections reflect the true working capability of a multi-span system as it relates to & adheres to the building structure itself. Callouts to details pertaining to fastening & splicing will be shown on the sections as will a large amount of the engineering notes when required.

Detail sheets supply information critical to all parties involved with assuring the sound application & waterproofing of the glazing system. A large percent of the Engineering information is given on these sheets as well. The Rocco Company knows the importance of supplying workable & sustainable details without veering from the projects true intent. With clear & accurate information given on the details the quicker everything will be from the submittal process thru to the installation. Field inspections will be few, brief & smooth. We will show the size & type of each building material or component the glazing system is attached to or comes in contact with. All glazing systems part numbers & applicable installation notes will be clear.
